Deutsche Bank Championship 2009

The Deutsche Bank Championship is one of the PGA Tour golf tournaments that occurs every year on Labor Days weekend. The Deutsche Bank Championship tournament began in 2003 and is held at the Tournament Players Club of Boston in Norton (Massachusetts). His sponsor, Deutsche Bank, has announced it will sponsor this event in Boston through 2010. Unlike most tournaments, this tournament is intended to end on a Monday due to its scheduling near Labor Day. The purse for 2008 was $7,000,000, with $1,260,000 to the winner.

The tournament is part of the FedEx Cup playoffs beginning in 2007.
