Survivor Pool Basics

• Every week, starting Friday, Jan. 6 of the 2011-12 NBA regular season you must select one team that will win at least 50% of its games from Friday through Sunday. They must win the games outright; point spread is irrelevant.
• If the team you selected wins 50% of its games outright, you will proceed to the next week. If the team you selected loses more than 50% of its games outright, you will be eliminated from the contest.
• Once you select a team, you will not be able to select that team again for the rest of the contest.
• The member(s) that lasts the longest without having one of their selections lose will be the Grand Prize winner.
• The final day of the contest is Sunday, April 22. However, the contest can end earlier if there is only one contestant remaining at the end of any of the preceding weeks. For example, only three contestants are alive heading into a specific week. Contestant A and Contestant B select a team that loses their game, whereas Contestant C selects a team that wins their game; Contestant C will be the lone winner of the Grand Prize.
• If all of the remaining contestants are eliminated prior to the end of the period of this competition, the contestants that were alive heading to the final week will split the Grand Prize equally. For example, if three contestants are alive heading into the final week, but all three are eliminated; those three contestants will split the Grand Prize.
• If there are at least 10 or more entries alive going into the final week (Friday, April 20, 2012), each contestant must select two teams that will win their games outright.
• If a game is canceled or postponed for any reason and the game is not played before the following Wednesday, both teams scheduled to play in that game will be graded as losers. If you selected either of those teams you will be eliminated from the contest.
• This contest can be modified at any time.

Registration & Making Picks

• Registration is required. Enter your correct Username and Password on the NBA Survivor promotion page. If you do not enter your correct information, you will not be able to proceed to the next step.
• Once you have correctly entered your Username and Password you must create a nickname for this contest. You will be identified by this nickname in the Survivor Pool, not by your Username.
• You are allowed to enter only one time for this promotion.
• When creating a nickname, you are prohibited from using any inappropriate words that may be offensive to others. If you use offensive words, you will run the risk of not being allowed to participate in this or any future contests.
• You are eligible to register for this contest up until Friday, Jan. 6 at 7pm ET. Your pick must be submitted by 7pm ET on the same date.
• From Week 1 (Friday, Jan. 6) going forward, you must make your selection by Friday at 7pm ET. Other than indicated below.
• The contest will not run the weekend of Friday, Feb. 24 to Sunday, Feb. 26 due to the NBA All-Star Game. It will reopen on Monday, Feb. 27.
• If you do not select a team by days and times indicated, you will be eliminated from the contest.
• You must select your team no later than five minutes prior to the scheduled start of the game.
• The Survivor Pool will reopen every Monday morning. You will be eligible to make your pick for the upcoming week at this time.
• Once you submit your selection, you will not be able to change your pick.

About the $20,000.00 Grand Prize

• The $20,000.00 is a cash prize; there are no rollover requirements associated with it.
• After it has been determined that there is a winner(s), the $20,000.00 Grand Prize will be deposited into the winner’s Sportsbook accounts within 24 hours.
• In order to be eligible for any monetary prizes associated with this promotion, you must wager at least $20.00 a week in the sportsbook. Casino and Poker play does not count toward this promotion.

Submit Picks Page

• Once you are signed in and ready to make your pick, click on the 'Submit Picks' page.
• Here you will find all of the NBA teams listed. Proceed to check the box next to the team you wish to select. If there is a 'W2' next to a team, this indicates you used this team Week 2. 'W3' represent you used this team Week 3 and so on.
• Please note the teams are not listed by who they are playing. Refer to the 'Weekly Schedule' tab to see each team's opponent for that specific week.
• After checking the box of the team you wish to select, hit the Submit button. Once you submit your entry, you will not be able to change your pick.
• Once your pick has been submitted, a confirmation will appear on your screen informing you that your entry was submitted successfully.

Standings Page

• On this page you will find a list of all the original entries in the contest.
• Next to each entry you will find the team (by city) that was selected for every week.
• If a team is highlighted in 'green' this represents that the team won 50% of its game that specific week. If the team is highlighted in 'red', this represents the team lost more than 50% of its games that week.
• By clicking on any nickname, you will be able to see which teams are still available for that entry.
• Above the list of entries is the up to date statistics for the contest. 'Players' represents the number of original entries. 'Eliminated' represents the total number of entries that have been eliminated. 'Survivors' represents the number of entries that are still alive and eligible to make a selection.

Statistics Page

• Next to each team you will first find a graph indicating the number of entries that selected a particular team. A 'green' graph represents a winning team. A 'red' graph represents a losing team.
• To the right of the graph you will find the exact percentage number of eligible entries that selected that particular team.
• To the right of the percentage number is the total amount of entries that selected that particular team.
• Click on the 'Go to week' dropdown to see the stats on prior weeks.
• At the top of the chart are the up to date statistics for the contest. 'Players' represents the number of original entries. 'Eliminated' represents the total number of entries that have been eliminated. 'Survivors' represents the number of entries that are still alive and eligible to make a selection.

Check Your Picks Page

• To the right of your entry will be the team you selected for that specific week.
• Before the games are graded your pick will appear in grey.
• Once your pick has been graded, they will either appear in the color 'green' or 'red'.
• Green represents that the team won 50% of its games so you will be eligible to make a pick for the upcoming week.
• Red represents that the team lost more than 50% of its games so your entry is eliminated from the contest and will not be eligible to make any more picks.
• Once an entry has been eliminated, an 'x' will appear for the rest of the weeks.
